La directora Payne ha tenido el honor de servir como directora de la escuela primaria Doris Hancock desde julio de 2019. Antes de llegar a Hancock ES, la directora Payne sirvió a los estudiantes en CCSD como subdirectora, estratega de aprendizaje y maestra de salón durante más de 14 años. I love working at Hancock for it’s laidback, yet helpful and compassionate group of people and atmosphere. We have an amazing Staff who are always willing to go above and beyond with students, their team,… a work family atmosphere.

Some of you might remember me from when I was the library aide , and now I am happy to be our School clerk. I truly have a passion for helping families with whatever is needed, and look forward to helping many more families to come!

I have been teaching in the Clark County School District for 11 years. I have 4 kids ranging from 8-3 years old and my husband is also a teacher in the school district. I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade and 4th grade. This year I am working as a math and technology strategist. I absolutely love seeing all of the kids everyday and helping them to be mathematicians and technology masters. Hancock is such a fantastic community where all of the students and staff are so friendly and kind. I love getting to know each and every student!

Welcome to Kindergarten! I'm happy to be starting my 8th year of working with Kinders! I have spent 16 years working in the Clark County School District both as a substitute teacher and regular classroom teacher. Prior to teaching, I have three grown children: two are teachers and one has just finished medical school. Mr. Melo and I have two new additions to our family! Their names are Lola and Alfie and they are 6 pound chihuahuas! I enjoy exercising and reading when I'm not busy with school. I'm looking forward to having a great school year ahead!
